Brew City FA was a fantasy soccer division I founded, and operated, on MFLS.com from 1999-2012. It was operated by Dan Chiarello from 2013 until MFLS shut down at the end of 2015. Rarely has any fantasy group been as dominant, for so long. In a decade in which other teams and divisions rarely won things, the 24 team BCFA one year even outpaced the 500+ team Ives Galarcep division. Anyway, we did well not because I am a good fantasy manager — I am mediocre at best — but because I was able to recuit & retain top managerial talent. It was a good run, but eventually I burned out. :-)

The menu looks like crap. but I didn’t want to spend a whole lot of time transferring 150 (!) old pages to WordPress. ;)

They will need a miracle if they are to beat third place Dudley Street Hooligans and second place Dynamo Silver Spring in the final two weeks. In the 2nd Division, four teams are joint top on 12 points, led by Aviators, with three more on nine. Any two of the septet could yet be promoted. In the 3rd Division, Pioneer Detasselers—the only team with a perfect record, but in second due to byes—confirmed their quality in a Match of the Week 33:25 victory over fellow BCFA old boys Surreywood Rangers.
