Sky rockets in flight ... Afternoon delight!

These were all along FR 95 to Tanner Peak. For years, I had no idea what they were, but based on my 2023 Prescott Circle Trail hike, they are New Mexico locust.

The second of my Arizona flowers videos, moves out of the low desert, into the “high country” of northern Arizona. The terrain is much more diverse, including riparian canyons, prairies and forested peaks. To the best of my ability, no flower is repeated in this  video:

No idea what this is either. The only time I recall seeing one is here, on the slope of Mount Peeley.
