C&O Canal Index

I had done a few hikes, and one bike, along the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal Tow Path prior to 2019, but that is the year I set out to day-hike the towpath’s 184.5 miles from Georgetown, in Washington D.C., to Cumberland, in western Maryland. Since I live 2,000 miles away in Arizona, I broke the entire C&O Canal Tow Path down into day-hike sized chunks of 8-12 miles, of which I will do one or two, twice a year over Easter and Halloween, through Halloween, 2023.
