I got kicked off YouTube the end of September. I was actually checking my account while eating dinner, when it happened. I tried contacting YouTube, by various means, but no help was to be had. They stonewalled me.

I never posted politics, porn, or other hot button topics. (I think we all know what those might be in 2020.) I never had a strike — YouTube is supposed to give you three — and I received no warning. Just BOOM. Gone.

I think I may have, for whatever reason, been an early victim of The Great Social Media Purge.

So, I am gradually transferring my 550+ videos to Vimeo, where Phoenix Asshole Drivers Greatest Hits Vol. 5 will be my 140th upload. (I’m gradually working my way through backwards through my catalog …)
