Accurate numbers, but shortened description due to Great Data Disaster of 2013.

“Develop the state of mind of consciousness of the corruption of the body, for thus passion will grow less; and of the consciousness of the fleeting nature of all things, for thus the pride of selfhood will grow less.”

Hiked from the Blue Wash Trailhead, on Cave Creek Rd., down Blue Wash, then up Camp Creek to Camp Creek Falls. The falls were awesome, even though not nearly as heavy as during the early weekend rains. Added some distance and elevation by continuing up the Aravaipa-like creek towards Sears Kay Ranch, then up the hillside, then over to the Sears Kay Ruins — where my shuttle-driving wife awaited!

Mooshed a piece of soaked log, for steadiness, on a flat boulder, set the timer, then dashed out in the pool for a self-portrait.
