Officially referred to as “reversible lanes”, Phoenix’s suicide lanes handle the increased load of rush hour traffic on 7th St. and 7th Ave. (Phoenix’s road naming conventions are nearly as confusing as their function: Avenues are west of Central Ave., while identically numbered Streets are east of Central. 🤨) Basically, during morning rush hour, the suicide lane is for south bound traffic only. During evening rush hour, to more efficiently empty downtown Phoenix, the suicide lane is north bound only. No left turns, during either period, from either direction, at signalled intersections. Outside rush hour, the suicide lane becomes a normal turn lane. Like the offside law in soccer, it’s not really confusing unless you are a tard. 🤪
Before I forget! A few weeks ago I finally had my Z-Edge S4 Dualcam installed. Which is a fancy way of saying Phoenix Asshole Drivers #38 has rear dashcam footage! (Can it be a ‘dashcam’ if it is facing backwards? 🤔)
