I’ve moved back to Arizona in 2004, and took up bike riding not long thereafter. I soon began referring to the Arizona Canal as the “Homeless Highway”. Whether riding my bike, or driving, I actually recognized some of the folks roamin’ ’round, including one couple whose assemblage of shopping carts and random bric-a-brac my wife & I referred to as “the battleship” it was so large: Like the Grinch’s sleigh full of Who-presents at the top of Mount Crumpet.
When I bought my GoPro Hero 10 Black 18 months ago, I did so to create bike riding videos, and as insurance in case a vehicle assassinated me — not to film the homeless people I have to dodge in the tunnels under roads that are otherwise unsafe to cross. 😬
Presented without further ado …
