After exploring the Agua Caliente ghost town, we drove east from Dateland, towards Gila Bend, picking up the frontage road near Theba. (Because stopping on the freeway could get us added to the 🪦s.)

Arizona Highway 387

Tired of driving I-10 to Casa Grande, I took this side road for variety’s sake.

On Salome Highway, at its intersection with 395th Ave., just south of Tonopah, near Winters Wells. A regular deadman’s curve, there were eleven roadside memorials, from at least five different accidents, within 100 yds. of each other!
