I use music in Phoenix Asshole Drivers videos for a couple of reasons.
First, because it gives the videos some energy. I started out using straight up punk, specifically “I Love Livin’ In The City” by Fear, as the lyrics fit the PTSD caused by driving in Phoenix: “I just want to fuck some slut” while being passed by a Beemer-driving psychotic Scottsdale trophy wife late for her Xanax. Then I migrated to using other types of energetic music, but by less famous bands. 👨🏻🎤
Second, because the music helps fill silent holes in the video caused by lack of dialog or muting music to avoid getting in YouTube trouble due to having multiple copyrighted works in one video. (They will ding you for what you are playing on your car stereo!) YouTube seems to be okay with one copyrighted song, but if you have multiple songs, they will butcher your audio. Just how they raped my otherwise awesome 24 Hours of America kart racing video. I’m still pissed about that five years later. 🤬
So, here is the 27th edition of Phoenix Traffic Stress Disorder accompanied by the dulcet stylings of Tinmouth‘s “Get Over It”:
- Homeless Follies 🕺🏻
- Future Grease Stains 🚴🏻♂️
- My First Prescott Asshole 😍
- Billy Jack 🙅🏻♂️
- The King Asshole. 👑

There was a video here, but YouTube deleted my account: I’m now on Rumble and Vimeo.
