Hiking Beer #4

I Like Beer

Hiking Beer #4 and Other Beer-li-ness

Celebrating 86 years since Prohibition was repealed, 4/7 is National Beer Day in the USA. 🍻🎉

Pictured are beers I’ve quaffed during & after hikes. Mostly during. I need the carbs. 💪

Beers of note include Efes — which we drank by the case in Kurdistan — Wells Banana Bread Ale, several Weihenstephan brews, and Czechvar, which is what the real Budweiser is called in the United States. And, unlike the swill from St. Louis, it is actually good.

Hiking locations include Aravaipa Canyon, the future Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway, Old Camp Reno, White Sands National Monument, and the Hargan Mine.

Music is “I Like Beer”, by Right Turn Clyde, not the Tom T. Hall classic of the same name, which I used in Hiking Beer #2.

Prost!
